The graduation ceremony postponed due to the pandemic will be made up for on 26 June at the Medical School in Pécs

On 26 June, the UP Medical School will hold the graduation ceremony of their students graduated last year, which had been cancelled due to the pandemic.

According to the Dean's Office, the ceremony will be held based on the traditional scenario and as in the years before 2020, the ceremony will not leave out the joint oath-taking of the young doctors either. The Medical School is also preparing surprises for last year’s graduates but with what exactly, it will only come to light at the ceremony.

It is possible to organise the ceremony due to the favourable development of the coronavirus epidemic, but at the same time certain epidemiological measures must be complied with. The young doctors can attend the ceremony without a vaccination certificate and can bring a maximum of 6 guests per person.

Relatives with a vaccination certificate can watch the ceremony in the two lecture halls of the new theoretical building. For those who do not have a vaccination certificate, a tent will be set up in the south park of the campus, they can follow the event from there, on a screen.
