November 27th is the Blood Donor Day in Hungary and has been celebrated since 1988 to recognize the thousand of people who save lives and improve the health of others by donating blood.
The Baranya County Organization of the Hungarian Red Cross has conferred a certificate of merit on the University of Pécs Medical School for organizing regular blood donations at the school. The prize has been handed over to the Dean of the Medical School, Professor Attila Miseta and to Zsófia Torsa, medical student.

On behalf of the Dean we would like to express our thanks to all voluntary blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.
