Successful UPMS students at HMAA Conference

It is our pleasure to inform you that at the HMAA Conference, held on 22-23 August 2014 six young researchers from UPMS, involved either in undergraduate (TDK) or PhD research were awared different prestigious prizes.

Best lecture presented in English, the so called Ivan Krisztinicz award – ­­ Hunyady Ágnes (TDK)

Excellence in Behaviour sciences award – Dr. Ernyey Balázs (PhD)

Excellence in Physiology-Pathophysiology award – Dr. Perjés Ábel (PhD)

Excellence in Biochemistry-Biophysics-Anatomy award – Kovács László Ákos (TDK)

Excellence in Immunology-Cell Biology award – Hunyady Ágnes (TDK)

Excellence in Surgery award – Sárvári Katalin (TDK)

The Hungarian American Medical Association is an organization of Hungarian-born medical doctors and researchers working in North America. HMAA aims to provide a friendly and professional tie between medical experts living in North America and Hungary.
